Where you go to college can have a major impact on your life. What you learn, the experiences you have and the friends you make will form the background of much of the rest of your life. You want to make the best choice you can in finding the right college for you. So how do you find your college?

You may talk to your friends but what do they really know. They have never been through this process before and besides, the best college for your friends isn’t necessarily the best college for you. Your school counselor may want to help but they just don’t have the time to give you the kind of attention you deserve to make such an important decision. Unfortunately, getting into the right college is also getting more difficult as more and more students apply each year and the acceptance rate at many colleges is heading lower and lower.

We then help you find colleges that fit your needs best.

Some college counselors focus their search on the “big name” colleges. We don’t prejudge you. We recommend colleges based on what you want from a college and on which colleges can satisfy your needs. If that is a “big name” college, we will make that recommendation. But we may also recommend a college you have never heard of before. We do this to make sure you find the best college for you. We believe that fit is more important for a student than the name of the college they attend. Some people still believe that the various college rankings are important in finding the right college.
