BS/MD Results for the Class of 2016

Several people have recently asked me about the results for the Class of 2016 and I realized that I had never posted results.  These results are not complete because some student’s preferred not to have their admissions listed but it should give a representative sample of how our students did in the admissions process this year. These are the BS/MD admissions only. A number after the college indicates the number of students that were accepted to that BS/MD program.

Northwestern University HPME 3
Brown University PLME
Boston University 2
Case Western Reserve University
University of Miami
Union College/Albany Medical College 2
RPI/Albany Medical College
Penn State/Jefferson Medical College
University of Cincinnati
Temple University
University of Illinois Chicago 2
Villanova/Drexel University
Florida Atlantic University
Virginia Commonwealth University 2
Georgia Regents University
Ursinus/Drexel University
NEOMED
California Northstate University 12

We also had a student get into four BS/DDS programs.

Of course this is not a guarantee of success in future years but this year’s class had a good year with admissions to BS/MD programs. Congratulations to all of our students.

    Anbu,
If a number is shown next to a college it is just an indication of how many of our students were admitted there. Again, these aren’t complete lists because not all students gave us permission to list results but is provided to give you an idea of the types of colleges are students are admitted to.

    Dear Todd,

I have read your book and find that your book is very comprehensive and easy to understand. I learned a lot from your book. My daughter is interested in pursuing the BS/MD program by following your book suggestion.

Now I encounter a dilemma that my daughter’s ACT composite score is 34. In addition, she has kept straight A for all her high school year and she is 11 grade now. She also has research, hospital volunteer and also school leadership as Dance Team Captain. My question is whether ACT is good enough or she need to get higher than 34 to be better competitive?

Your opinion will be very appreciated.

    Lei Sun,

A 34 ACT is very competitive for most of the BS/MD programs.
